Report of the Meeting of the Research Deputy, Scientific and Executive Secretaries of the Fifth Women’s Book of the Year Conference with the Director of Jamiat al‑Zahra (peace be upon her), Dr. Barqaei At the beginning of the session, a report on the activities carried out in relation to the conference was presented by the Scientific Secretary, Dr. Haji Esmaeili, and the Executive Secretary, Ms. Rabani. In the meeting dedicated to outlining perspectives and proposals for the fifth edition of the Women’s Book of the Year Conference, Dr. Barqaei, the Chair of the Conference, introduced a set of suggestions aimed at enhancing the scientific, media, and international dimensions of the event. These ideas were presented with the purpose of strengthening women’s role in intellectual production, increasing the visibility of their works, expanding scientific networking, and showcasing women’s capacities on a global scale. Dr. Barqaei emphasized the necessity of reinforcing the theory‑development section in this edition, enabling female researchers to analyze real social issues and present their theories. She proposed that participants select a specific social issue, examine it thoroughly, and present their theoretical analysis in a formal session. It was also suggested that several outstanding theories could be reviewed by the Policy Council to open new pathways for scientific decision‑making. These points were introduced as her proposals for creating a more serious and structured environment for women’s theoretical engagement. She further highlighted the importance of identifying women of letters and establishing an Assembly of Women Authors. Introducing five exemplary Muslim women as scientific and cultural role models was another proposal raised during the session. According to her, the most significant outcome of this approach is recognizing women theorists and presenting their valuable works to society and the world. In the international section, a series of proposals were discussed, including inviting international journalists for media coverage, introducing outstanding women’s works in global news agencies, collaborating with international publications, organizing virtual pre‑sessions with foreign researchers, and establishing partner centers and scientific collaborations in various countries to strengthen the global presence of the conference. It was also proposed that top women’s books be introduced in international media and disseminated through global news networks to ensure broader visibility of women’s works. Regarding awards, it was suggested that the structure of the prizes be expanded so that, in addition to written works, multimedia productions, scientific collaborations, and international activities would also be recognized. It was further proposed that a participation award be considered for active contributors in order to increase motivation for attendance and submission of works
