The closing ceremony of the Fourth National Women’s Book of the Year Conference was held this morning at the Islamic Awakening Hall of Al‑Zahra University, with the presence of a distinguished group of scholars, researchers, and faculty members from both the seminary and the university.
The event opened with a message from Grand Ayatollah Subhani, followed by an address delivered by Ayatollah Arafi. Subsequently, Ms. Borghaei, the Director of Al‑Zahra University, Ms. Batoul Zahedi, the Scientific Secretary of the Conference, and Ms. Seddiqeh Shakeri, the University’s Deputy for Research, presented reports on the process of organizing this academic event.
In the final part of the ceremony, the winning works of this national conference were honored. The event aims to promote a culture of scholarly research among distinguished women and to strengthen the academic contributions of female researchers in the field of Islamic studies. Out of 866 submitted works, 28 were selected in three categories: “Selected Works,” “Commendable Works,” and “Honorable Mentions.”
